On October 13, the Anderson County girls golf team took to Regionals. This year the competition took place at Brookride Country Club in Overland Park. The girls had to be ready and at the high school before 7:30 so they would make it on time. The competition started at 9:40 am and they arrived one hour early. Marlee Hollon, one of the girls on our team, scored a 119 overall. When she was asked “Do you think you could’ve done better or are you happy with the score you got?” she responded. “I think I could’ve done better but I didn’t do terrible for myself.” In the end, the team placed 4th and Freshman Everlee Crum placed 14th with a score of 98 and a spot secured for State competition.
