Valentines Day

Last week the ACHS students celebrated Valentine’s day on Wednesday, Feburary 11 due to not having school Thursday and Friday. During first hour, students helped Mrs. Hammond pass out Carnations that had been ordered the previous week. Reporters asked some students if they expected to get any flowers and how many they got. Junior Marlee Hollon said “I expected to get some because Corey told me she would,” and Junior Corey Willard said she got “five flowers.”

That Saturday was Valentine’s day and when asked if anyone had plans or were doing anything, Sophomore Kylah Stoy said “I went to my best friend’s house to eat ice cream together because my boyfriend hadn’t asked me to be his Valentine.” Junior Natalie Ruppel said she didn’t have any plans because “My boyfriend had work.”
