A survey was sent to students at Anderson County Jr./Sr. High School asking, “What would you do if you were famous?” Students shared a variety of creative and humorous responses.
Kris Holloway said that if he were famous, he would spend money on college and other essentials first, then on things he enjoys, like books. He also said he would use his status to meet as many famous people as possible, ranging from former world leaders to celebrities, including Markiplier.
Corey Willard said she would cry.
Paislyn Foltz said she would live in a mansion.
Brody Clark said he would buy a nice house and a cool car.
Vivian Riblett said she would buy a large amount of chocolate and a yacht.
Jasmine Kue joked that she would join the Illuminati.
Carter Hermann said he would start a business to make money, buy a nice house, and give back to his family and friends.
Hailey Gregory said she would buy a lot of expensive items, such as jet skis, and do something wild similar to O. J. Simpson before joking that she would fake her death like Michael Jackson.
Owen Thompson said he would use his talents and influence to set a good example for people who look up to him.
Xavier Jolliff said he would go into hiding for a while.
Avery Thompson said she does not enjoy being the center of attention, but if she were famous, it would likely be for dancing.
Sawyer Schaffer said he would buy a private island, live there, and build a carnival.
Students had a wide range of responses, from helping others to enjoying the luxuries that could come with fame. One thing was clear: everyone had a different idea of what they would do if they became famous.
