Life 10 Years From Now – Students Imagine Their Futures

By Lizzy Farrar

Ten years from now might seem like a long way off, but a lot of students already have a pretty clear idea of what they want their future to look like. From helping others to chasing creative passions, these students are thinking ahead and setting goals that matter to them.

Senior Kenna Goetz pictures herself living on a farm while working as a labor and delivery nurse. She wants to help bring new life into the world and build a life of her own, including marrying Owen and creating a future full of purpose and love.

Sophomore Jaelyn Leyser plans to finish nursing school and become a pediatric nurse. She hopes to work with kids and make a real difference in their lives while building a strong career in healthcare.

Sophomore Ashlyn Honn is planning to start out as a CNA to get hands-on experience in the medical field. From there, she wants to keep working toward becoming an anesthesiologist, showing she is ready to put in the time and effort to reach her goals.

Junior Chloe Moore sees herself going into cosmetology, using her creativity to help people feel confident and express themselves. She is excited about turning her interest in beauty and style into a career she enjoys.

Junior Emma Jordan imagines a more relaxed future where she is married and living on the beach. For her, it is all about being happy, enjoying life, and living somewhere peaceful.

Even though their plans are all different, they all have one thing in common: they are looking forward to building a future that makes them happy.
